Zoheb Veljee is a rather ‘basic’ man of mild presence and a thinker-gatherer-contributor outlook on life. He is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, policy consultant, and a youth development specialist.

While pursuing his Masters degree at Carnegie Mellon University, Zoheb conceived “Global Troubadours” for a class assignment – a social enterprise that would identify, record, and promote musicians who represent a rich cultural heritage but live in remotely located under-served communities. If there are artists out there, unable to afford a studio, his mission was to bring the studio to them (in a bag!).

Five years later, he has returned home and finds himself doing exactly that and more – so dreams (and assignments) do come true!
