Haleem Baghi was born in 1963 in the village Rohalwai in Umerkot, Sindh. He is well-known in literary and political circles in Sindh as one of the region’s most powerful, nationalist poets. His poetry has been published in an anthology called ‘Aray Shehr Jaana’ in 2004. Baghi continues to live in Rohalwai and teaches in the Government High School of Umerkot.
