Risham Hosain Syed is an acclaimed visual artist and an Associate Professor in the School of Visual Art and Design at the Beaconhouse National University, Lahore. She majored in Painting, Miniature Painting, and Printmaking from NCA, Lahore, and then went on to pursue her Masters in Painting from the Royal College of Art in London. A student of Eastern Classical music, Risham refers to her father as her mentor and sings to musical compositions that he has composed for his poetry.
